Teagan Blackthorne is on vacation. This blog was set up before she left.
Today's style is from Calico Creations.
The Connor style is a long, straight style that falls down to the middle of the back. The hair in front is pull back from the face towards the crown with some pieces falling slightly back to frame the face. The hair pulled back at the top has some volume to it giving the style a lift.
The Connor style costs L$2000 for a full color pack, L$200 4-color pack, and the demos are free. Calico Creations - Caralee
Today's style is from Calico Creations.
The Caralee style is a curly side style that just screams 80s to me. The curls are piled up on the left side of the head and spill down the left side engulfing the shoulders in soft curls. Shorter curls fall into the face slightly covering the left eye. There is a flowered band that holds the hair in place to the side.

Today's style is from Calico Creations.
The Casey style are two long ponytails that are held in place low at the neckline and fall down the back to the top of the thighs. The hair in front is parted left of center with the framing pieces held back from the face with silver bands that are level with the temple. There is a small piece of hair that has escaped falling to touch the top of the left brow.

Today's style is from Calico Creations.
The Eve style is a long, curly style that falls in cascades to the small of the back. The hair on the top of the head is pulled back to the crown and gathered together before spilling into the hair down the back. The face is framed with long, choppy bangs that are parted on the left fall into the eyes slightly covering most of the right cheek.

Calico Creations - Lloth
Today's style is from Calico Creations.
The Lloth style is a Drow inspired style that flows all the way down the back to mid-calf. The hair is gathered at the crown high into a shorter pony on top with the strands ending level with the shoulders. The layer of hair below spills down the entire back of the body. The face is framed with long, choppy bangs with the framing pieces ending just above the shoulders and the middle pieces falling into the eyes touching the nose. There is a spider crown that is optional to wear. This style was made as part of a group designer release between Calico Creations(the hair), silentsparrow(clothes), and Tete-a-Pied(skin). The pictures show the skin and the hair because my budget was tight this week.

The Jet style is a medium, straight style that just brushes at the tops of the shoulders with a bit of layering on the ends. The face is framed with long, chunky pieces that fall across the face and angles from the left with a few strands crossing the right eyes. Several chunky piece have been given volume to give this style a wild, windswept look. Although this sculptie style was designed with a man in mind, I know several woman who wear this style for themselves.

Today's style is from Calico Creations. Proceeds from this style go to Virtual Angels.
The Catherine style is a beautifully done updo with hair loosely piled on top of the head. The tendrils in the updo have hair spilling in all directions but not too wildly to distract from the elegance of this style. The face is framed with strands that fall to cover the ears and end just above the shoulders. Smaller bangs that part on the left cross the forehead to meet the framing pieces. This hair was perfect with Queen Katherine of Aragon gown from Allure by Sparkle Skye.

Today's style is from Calico Creations.
The Ashlee style is a long, curly style that falls to the middle of the back. The hair closer to the root is straight easing into a soft curls after a layer 1/3 of the way down the back. The face is framed with straight, angled bangs that cross the brown and angel outwards to cheekbone. The transition from straight to curly is subtle in the back but in the front it appears a bit more awkward.

Today's style is from Calico Creations.
The Ember III style is long, curly hair that falls just past the shoulders. The face is framed with long, chunky pieces that come just to the jawline. This hair has quite a bit of flexi to it so I chose the shorter of the 3 Ember styles for my needs. the other two Ember styles are similar except Ember I goes to the ankles and Ember II goes to the top of the thighs. All three Ember styles have that tousled, just-got-out-of-bed look to them.

The Helen style is long, curly hair that falls just past the middle of the back. The hair is pull back from the face in a twist that crowns the front of the head. There are a few wisps of hair the fall out here and there through the entire style giving it a soft look. I cannot say enough about how amazing the textures are at this shop. If you get a chance, go there and try on the hair color demos. The Helen II version is straight hair in place of the curly.

Virtual Angels Charity Fund - Calico Creations 50%off
Virtual Angels Charity Fund is running a charity event from February 22nd through the evening of March 3rd. Calico Ingmann, bless her heart, has put up 15 women's styles, including her newest release called Rachael, and 7 men's styles at half their price in her shop. (This means instead of L$200 a color it is only L$100 a color.)
