RaC - Fling II

I can't help it. Every time I wear RaC hair (which is pretty often), I wait for someone to ask where it's from, so I can reply, "Raspberry and Cow!" Why does that make me giggle so much? I have no idea, but it certainly does.

So, back to the hair... today's style is Fling II from RaC. It's smooth, sleek, shiny, and elegant. (Sorry, I couldn't think of an "s" descripter for elegant!) From the front, the long side-swept bangs curl slightly past the chin, and the rest of the hair is simply stylish. (Ooooh, more Ss!) The ends have a subtle flip outward.



The back is pure grace. This hair is all about the textures, make no mistake. It is amazing!



The Fling II style is $400 per color. Your color choices are black, dark brown, mahogny, ash brown, golden brown, light brown, sunkissed, red, copper, strawberry, golden blonde, ash blonde, honey blonde, platinum, and silver.

Have you ever put on a style and decided it's never coming off your head? Well, that's happened for me again. I somehow stumbled onto RaC's Priss style, and it hasn't come off in 3 weeks. There's something about this style that works for me. I couldn't even spare the time to ask for a review copy, I'd already hit the pay button before I had time to think!

From the front, there are soft bangs that frame the face. The soft curls of the back can be seen, but don't spill to the front. A simple black headband pulls it all back off the face.



The back is a lush fall of rich, soft curls. You can see stray hairs around the edges, and the texture is amazing. I don't think you can find better textures in Second Life!



The Priss style is $400 per color. Your color choices are black, dark brown, mahogny, ash brown, golden brown, light brown, sunkissed, red, copper, strawberry, golden blonde, ash blonde, honey blonde, platinum, and silver.

RaC - Camellia

Today's style is from RaC.

The Camellia style is two messy buns sitting on either side of the head with strands of head streaming out of the buns. Each bun is held in place with a black ribbon knotted into a bow at the back. There are straight cut fringe bangs across the brown and the hair going back to the buns is parted in the middle. I felt that the buns of this style could have been done better especially the shaping. The bangs are done well and the smoothed back parts on the scalp area are as well. Given the RaC name, I would expect the same care given to their skins to be given to the hair but this is not the case.




The Camellia style costs $250L per color and the demos are $1L. The colors include: black, dark brown, mahogany, ash brown, golden brown, light brown, sunkissed, red, copper, strawberry, golden blonde, ash blonde, honey blonde, platinum, silver.

RaC - Nikki's Choice

RaC is most known for the $4000L photosourced skins that they produce. A small hair shop is hidden across the way from the main store with designs for both men and women. RaC City sells skins, eyes, shapes, clothing for men and women, and hair. The hair is reasonably priced in comparison to the skin price tag of $4000L.

The Nikki's Choice style is a long, wavy style that is held back in a brown, 80's banana clip and falls to the middle of the back. The face is frames by long pieces of hair that part on the left and fall forward past the shoulders. The texture is nicely done but seems more suited for an ethnic style.




The Nikki's Choice style costs $199L per color and the demos are $1L. The colors include: brown, copper, brown, and black.
