Calla - Poinsettia Combo II

Once again, I have been smacked up beside the head by one of Calla's styles, left babbling and giddy, because my avatar looks SO. DARN. CUTE! Seriously, I should start carrying gift certificates to Calla, just because it's the first place I send people who ask where to get great hair.

The Poinsettia Combo II is the guilty style today. It's an updo with curls and a cute little ponytail falling down. Seriously, why can't I make my hair do this in RL?



The front has slightly messy bangs with little tendrils escaping at the sides. From the side, you can see the curly part of the updo, as well as the ponytail.

Calla - Chestnut Tree

Today's style is from Calla. Cute story about this style. My brain was so fried from Christmas that I was looking and couldn't find it at Calla because I was looking for Christmas Tree not Chestnut Tree.

The Chestnut Tree is a twisted updo with the hair being twisted out rather than the traditional twisted inward. The wist is secured in place by an half-circle band just below the crown. Calla - Fennel (revisited)

There are loose pieces of hair spilling out of the up that down the neck to touch the shoulders and up the back of the band. I have to admit, I giggled a bit when I read this name. I mean, some on, there's BUG in the name!!! But then I put it on, and ... well, maybe all bugs aren't so bad!

The Fern, Lady Fern and Maiden Fern styles are t versions of the same style. All three styles are long braids that start as a braided, wrap-around bun at the crown of the head and fall down the back. The face is framed with choppy, angular bangs that fall across the eyes and brush out to the cheekbones. The Maiden Fern(shown right) falls to the back of the knees, the Lady Fern(shown left) is a little shorter falling to the small of the back, and the Fern(shown center) falls about mid-length between the other two styles but the braid is about half the thickness.
