I admit it, I love a messy up-do. Something about the idea of pulling your hair off your neck so you can catch the breeze on a warm day just makes me smile. Minerva from Vixen captures that sensation for me. It's a messy up-do with shaggy bangs that fall to the right. Stray pieces escape on the sides, and the whole style is just touchable.

(Furry Friday) HCT - Minx

Today's style is from Here Comes Trouble. This is the first time we are going to try a Furry Friday. Unlike Male Mondays this will not be weekly but when we are able to feature Furry hairstyles. If you know of other stores that have hair that cater specific styles for the furry community, please let Laynie or I know.

The Minx style is a long, straight ponytail that is held in place a the crown with hair wrapped around the base to hold it in place. The pony is high volume falling down and out to the small of the back. There are long framing pieces that are parted at the center and fall down either side of the face to the waist. This style also comes in a standard version on the discount wall.

Hair by Cher - Jolie

Today's style is from Hair by Cher.

The Jolie style is a high, side ponytail sitting high behind the right ear. The hair in the ponytail curls down the side of the head and ends level with the bottom of the ears. Wispy bangs frame the face with some pieces falling into the eyes. The style is accented by small bows that circle the back of the head alone the neckline. The hair band holding the pony in place matches the bows. This style comes with a couple of bow options.

Here are the revised guidelines for submitting hair for review:

1. Place items in a folder entitled: Savoir Hair - (store name) - (date of submission).

2. Include a notecard with:
-Name of the store & designer(s)
-Landmark
-Slurl
-Store's Blog(If you don't have one, it is a good idea to get one and they are free.)
-Name of the hairstyle(s) submitted
-Colors the style comes in
-Prices: fat packs, special packs, color packs, demos, etc
-Other important information we need to know like scripts, accessories, etc

4. Drop the folder to Teagan Blackthorne(loves black) and/or Laynie Link(loves red).

There is usually a 1 - 3 week wait for reviews. If you do not see you hair by then, give us a nudge because our IMs cap horribly and it may be lost in the cavern of our inventories. Will we blog you if you didn't follow everything above? Probably. :P But the information we ask for makes it easier for us to blog you.

Jolie Femme - Drama

I love a dramatic curl, and Drama from Jolie Femme definitely fits the bill. This style is parted in the middle, and very long. The curls are lush, with a soft sheen that pulls the eye in.



From the back, you can see the gentle slope of the hairline, with the curls tumbling gracefully to just above the waist.

The Maci style is a long and short style with the hair long on the left side falling down in front of the shoulder and the hair short on the right side angled into a bob. The hair in back is slightly layers with soft stands of hair touching the neck. The hair in the front is parts on the right with chunks falling over the left eyes and curving around the contours of the right side of the face.

Male Monday- Philotic Energy Jet

Today, I get to show you guys some edgy hair with goggles! Philotic Energy makes fantastic hair, and Jet is no exception to this rule. So, if you like to walk on the wilder side, check this one out!

This choppy style has long chunky bangs falling over a set of goggles. The hair is wild and textured. It's clear you're not a stuffed suit when you wear this!



From behind, the band of the goggles peeks out through the textured hair. Pieces poke out from various angles, making me want to run my fingers through and smooth it. (What, don't you ever wanna touch your avatar? :D)

The Brandy style is a messy updo with the hair piled high up on the head at the crown. There are strands of hair spilling out in all directions. The wedge bangs are parted on the right with the bang crossing the left eye to the cheekbone. The hair on the right side of the face falls down at an angle level with the lips.
